But, everything may go waste if you lose the access to that device. You can use Google Keep that lets you save notes online. This way you will never lose access to your notes.

Getting Started With Google KeepGoogle Keep Notes Desktop App
The first thing that you need to do is go to Google Keep. Then, tap on ‘Take a note’ on the top; enter the title and text that you want to save and hit ‘Done’. You can even create a list, tap the ‘New list’ icon on the right side of ‘Take a note’. Add the title and items to the list; tap Done. Firetask 3 7 1. You can even turn your note into a list; tap a note, click three dots (or More) below it and select ‘Show checkboxes’. Moreover, you can pin your important notes on the top of Google Keep homepage. To pin a note, hover over a note and tap the ‘Pin note’ icon.
You can also change the color of your note. To do this, you can either create a new note or open an existing note. So, choose your note or simply hover over the note (if you have already created it). Tap the ‘Change color’ icon and choose the color; that’s it. If you want to change the color of multiple notes simultaneously. You will have to select multiple notes, you can do this by simply hovering over a note and tap the checkmark. Once you are done with selecting notes; tap the change color icon on the top right and you are done.
To save a drawing as a note, tap on ‘New note with drawing’ (or pen icon) on the right side of ‘Take a note’. You can start drawing by left-clicking, holding, and dragging in the drawing area. Tap the back button on the top left to save the drawing and then click Done to save the note. Similarly, you can save an image by tapping ‘New note with image’. Then, choose and upload an image from your computer; click Done to save it. You can also add title and note to both the drawing and image. Furthermore, you can add a drawing to an image, open any image note and tap the image. Then, click the pen on the top right and start drawing. When you open Google Keep, notes is the default option that you will see. If you are browsing some other page on Google Keep and want to go back to the homepage. You can simply select the ‘Notes’ from the main menu. This is the page where you will find all the notes that you have made.
2. Reminders
Google Keep not only lets you save notes online; you can even set up reminders for your notes. Uninstallpkg 1 1 7. You can set up a reminder either when you reach a certain place or at a particular time.To set up a reminder, hover the mouse over a note and tap the ‘Remind me’ option.
Now, you have to set the ‘Time reminder’; you can either choose the default time or tap ‘Pick date & time’ to set custom date and time. You can also choose whether you want to repeat a reminder or not. In addition, you can set the frequency to repeat the reminder that comes with two options either default or custom. As this post is about using Google Keep on a computer, so ‘Location reminder’ has no use over here.
You can also edit or delete a reminder, for this, you will have to hover over a reminder on a note. To change the time, tap the ‘clock’ icon on the left side of a reminder. In a similar way, you can delete a reminder by tapping the ‘Delete reminder’ (or cross icon) on the right side of a reminder. If you want to see a list of all your upcoming reminders, select ‘Reminders’ from the main menu; that’s it.
3. Labels
You can use ‘Labels’ if you want to categorize your notes. In Google Keep, you can create up to 50 labels. To start, open any note and tap three dots at the bottom of it; then, select ‘Add label’. Under the ‘Label note’, enter the name of a label that is relevant to the note and tap ‘Create’ at the bottom and click Done. Also, you can add multiple labels to a note.
Similarly, you can change the label of a note. The process is same as you create a label, you have to open a note to which you have added a label earlier. This time, you will find ‘Change labels’ option unlike ‘Add label’ previously. You can uncheck the current label to remove it and check any existing label you want to replace it with or you can create a new label.

Furthermore, you can rename a label and delete it as well. To do this, tap Edit which is next to the ‘Labels’ in the main menu. If you want to rename a label, tap ‘Rename label’ to the right of it and to delete it, tap ‘Delete label’ to its left. Then, click Done when you are done with the corrections. You will find all your labels, under the ‘Labels’ in the main menu. When you choose any label, all your notes will be sorted by that level.
4. Archive
When you finish the tasks written in a note, it makes no sense to keep those notes with the upcoming or pending notes. In such cases, you can archive those notes which you feel that may be needed in future. To archive a note, hover over it and tap ‘Archive’ at the bottom. You will find your archived notes when you tap the ‘Archive’ option in the main menu. If you want to unarchive a note, click ‘Archive’ option in the main menu; hover over a note and tap ‘Unarchive’ at the bottom.
5. Trash
Anytime you feel that you don’t need any note further, it is better to delete such notes. To delete a note, hover over it; click three dots at the bottom and tap ‘Delete note’. Once you delete a note, it will be moved to the ‘Trash’ option in the main menu. In addition, you can recover a note within 7 days of deleting it. To recover a note, go to Trash, hover over a note and click three dots at the bottom; choose ‘Restore’ and you are done.
Moreover, you can delete the notes permanently and you can delete them in two ways; one at the note level while the other at the trash level. To permanently delete an individual note, the process will remain the same as you recover a note; this time you have to choose the ‘Delete forever’ option. But, if you want to empty the trash completely, choose ‘EMPTY TRASH NOW’ on the top in the trash; that’s it.
6. Settings

Other Features of Google Keep
When you are in a hurry, you can use the search bar rather than scrolling through the long list of notes. You can search notes either by entering the text in the search bar or use the various filters that it offers. The filters will be visible when you tap the search bar and these filters options are those that I have discussed above. Moreover, if an image contains text; you can search that image by entering the text in the image. The search bar is on the top of the page in Google Keep.
